Lawn
Care
A common mistake of many homeowners is that they
cut their grass far too low. Each type of turf-grass has it's own
height that it should be properly cut at. For example, tall fescue
should be cut at 3.5 to 4.5 inches for it to grow and become healthy.
Never cut off more than 1/3 of the grass blade each
mowing. Many times, homeowners tend to let the grass get too high
then cut it back to the level it had been cut before, resulting in
drastic change which stunts and shocks the grass. Sometimes you'll
notice the grass turning yellow after a cut like this. This is why
grass should be cut every week on a routine basis.
